Julie had Gail's Girl Scout troop do a very good experiment. Julie cut
apple slices with a clean knife, then handed them to the girls to put in
bags after touching both sides. Then the girls washed their hands, and
another round of slices were put in bags after touching both sides.
After a few days, the difference was impressive. The photo shows a
representative dirty and clean slice, and the slice at bottom was Gail's
dirty hands - looks military grade. :-)
