[Gathnet] Up date on Barb's kidney condition

Again thank all of you for your support and response.  A bit of the 
technical stuff I read in my CAT scan results and discussed with my 
surgeon.  My mass is what doctors call a level 3.  If he had seen me 
three years ago when the mass was first discovered (we don't know that 
it has not been there for years) he would have wanted to remove it 
as was advised by my current E/R doctor and two previous urologists .  
 But three years have passed and the mass has not grown, hence no cancer 
and no reason to remove a functioning organ.  So the surgeons response 
was truly an answer to our prayers. 
 
Since I injured myself, probably coughing, the doctors say it may take 
six weeks or so for the pain to subside and heal.  They want me to rest 
and light exercise.  We are going to try and get me to the end of the 
block and back and get some good sunshine and free Vitamin D.
 
I know you are all busy and so you don't have to respond again.  Each 
day is getting better and I was even able to eat a small McDonalds 
cheese burger (it tasted good).  We all appreciate our good health and 
live each day to the fullest.  Thanks again and we will keep in touch.
