So there has been a big outage at Level3 lately - underscoring one of the problems with centralized internet. Due to the nature of the outage, I was able to get to my bank website by using a proxy server in Seattle. Other failure modes would not allow that workaround. Naturally, all my sites were available via Cjdns.
