Well, tomorrow morning at 9:30am (Apr 2) is book club, and no one
has asked for directions.

The first three chapters introduce 4 characters.  There are some references to ideas that sound like "Saving the Appearances", but MacDonald came well before Barfield.

How does the description of how Helen is "asleep" apply today?
