Additionally, abortions often cause scarring which complicates or
even prevents future pregnancies.  IANAD, but from what I've read
the only time an abortion is medically benecifial is when the baby
is already dead (indeed, a dead baby can be fatal to the mother if
not spontaneously aborted).
