I have a question for the group.  It is great that the Church is taking a 
hard line on abortion.  However, what if a politician says:

 a) he is personally against abortion
 b) he will work to put and end to the practice
but
 c) he will accept compromises such as allowing abortions in cases
    of rape or incest as a means to that end

I hope the Church is not requiring Catholic politicians to be 
"all or nothing".
