=====================================================================

On Tuesday, August 31, Catholic Answers ran a full-page ad in USA Today
that advises Catholic voters on how to vote according to Catholic moral
teachings on five key issues when they go to the polls. Over a million
voters in and around New York City, Hartford, Buffalo, St. Louis,
Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Richmond,
and hundreds of surrounding cities were reached with this ad.

The Catholic vote will weigh in heavily during this year's elections.
Catholics make up 25% of the U.S. population, with some 64 million
citizens. Furthermore, Catholics typically vote at a rate 4 percent
higher than Protestants, and the Catholic population is heavily
concentrated in key states with high Electoral College votes.

In the past, most Catholics have not voted according to the Church's
moral teachings. They checked their faith at the door when they
stepped into the polling place. That needs to change.

American Catholics must learn how to vote--not just as Americans
but as Catholics, too. They need to judge each candidate individually
based on where he stands on key moral issues. They need to exclude
from their consideration any candidate who is wrong on any of these
issues.

But before that can happen, Catholic voters need to know what those
key moral issues are--and what the Church teaches about each one.

The "Voter's Guide for Serious Catholics" clearly and concisely gives
official Church statements on five "non-negotiable" moral issues:

- Abortion
- Euthanasia
- Fetal stem cell research
- Human cloning
- Homosexual "marriage"

After reading it, there will be no doubt or confusion about what
the Church teaches and requires of her children.

It also explains the Catholic citizen's duty to participate in
political life by voting--and by voting in line with Church
teachings. The voter's guide does not endorse any particular
candidate or political party. But it does teach the reader how to
determine a candidate's position on the non-negotiable issues. It
even explains which offices a conscientious Catholic should worry
about.

It gives the reader complete references for all Church documents
cited, and it encourages the reader to share the voter's guide
with others. Order in bulk and save up to 45% off.
