In all fairness, I think this is comparing apples to oranges.  I think it is
fair to critize the Catholic bishops for being quiet way too long about
child molestation, then doing something only when the poop hits the fan in
the national media.  And child molestation is a no-brainer.  Of course
you're going to come down hard on it.  The Anglicans would do the same
thing, I'm sure.

Anglicans are dealing with a different issue, whether to allow openly gay
clergy to the office of church leadership.  Catholics are not going to
ordain openly gay bishops, period.  No way, no how.  Would it be more
instructive to discuss why Catholics won't even be walking down the troubled
road the Anglicans are going down now?  Or will we...?
