If I recall correctly, the so-called "gospel of Judas" is one of the ancient bogus "gospels" written by the gnostics to discredit the Gospel, Church, and Faith; one of those ancient heresies that keeps popping back up every so often under the guise of being some "new and scholarly discovery" that is nothing more than the tiresome ancient revolts of man (and Satan) against accepting and submitting to the Truth! Nothing new under the sun, just the same old ancient heresies with a different outfit that "scholars" can claim is "new!"
While certainly dangerous, there is also a perspective to keep; these "scholars" and their satanic masters are not original, they keep repeating the same ole-same ole. In a word, while dangerous, they are also B-O-R-I-N-G....they haven't had anything really new or original since ancient times. Mock them a bit, for as I believe C.S. Lewis wonderfully pointed out, the devil cannot stand to be mocked or laughed at - it takes all the wind out of his sails.
