I wonder why you take it so personal,as a attack on your religion, unless your religion is what you believe in?
That said please take the comment with a grain of salt and think this over what I am presenting.
The attack is not aginst any religion and we need to realise that this is an attack aginst God
Act 22:8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

Jesus said that this time would come, we need to see it as being aginst God, many catholics are very religous  and I am afrade that most prostant churches are the same, just religous  what my pastor calls a sunday christian and monday through saturday they live like teh rest of the word, God says we are to come out from among them and be a peculiar people

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

I don't know how many of you watch Hal Linsey on Daystar or Angle One, he used to be on I believe TBN but has been bannand for being to harsh on the Islamic

we are talking about the last days before Jesus comes and raptures out his church and we get to see it on this back drop just as Jesus said it would happen.

The fig tree is Isreal and this occured in 1948 Ibelieve in may of 1948 and will come to past before the generation of 1948 pass on we live in this time, do you see it? in 1948 Isreal began to put forth her branches and Jsus said there must be a falling away of the church.

I certin that most of what you call  prosatans that are making a stand would never aling with catholics{as they believe that they are called by scripture to be separate}.
