Your quotation of Jer 1:5, "Before I formed thee in
the belly I knew thee," is one of the quotations the
pro-life movement uses to fight abortion.

I'm hoping that our Apologetics Group will be able to
come up with a plan to fight back against The Da Vinci
Code, which attacks the fundamental beliefs of
Christians.

The so-called Gospel of Judas was produced by a
gnostic sect and was denounced by St. Irenaeus, the
Bishop of Lyons, in the year 180. It too is an assault
against Holy Scripture, but is unlikely to have
anywhere near the impact of The Da Vinci Code.

Still, we ought to talk about both of them in an
upcoming meeting. I wish you still lived in Northern
Virginia, but I hope you will frequently let us know
your thoughts on religious matters from Iowa.
