Man, this FUD is as bad as something from Microsoft!  The straw-man fallacy
on steroids.  Like anyone has used the "rhythm" method since 50 years ago ...

(NFP best practice for some decades has been sympto-thermal last I checked.)

And no, S-T does not have the drawback mentioned.
