Long ago, Nostradamus foresaw that on Jan 30, Dianne Dawson would write:

This example is clearly politcal correctness at work, but keep in mind that
"dynamic translation" is a valid concept.  In a less controversial 
example, the Hide language which my sister worked on translating
has different grammar depending on whether the speaker is above, below,
or on the same level as the audience.  (The Hide live in a mountainous region,
where this is important.)

Thus when Jesus gives the Sermon on the Mount, you have to decide whether
Jesus sat/stood above his audience on the mountain, or below and talked
up to them, or in the middle with people both above and below.  (In
my imagination, he sits above - but that is not explicitly mentioned.)

In Spanish, precise family relationships are important - which is great
fun when translating passages about Jesus' "brothers".
