Dear CV Friend, 

Lawsuits. 

Lots of them. 

Yesterday morning, 12 new federal lawsuits were filed by 43 separate Catholic entities against HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius challenging the
constitutionality of the new anti-freedom mandate. 

Some of the entities now suing the government include the Archdiocese of New York, the
University of Notre Dame, Franciscan University, and Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh. 

These new lawsuits are in addition to the
approximately 11 other cases previously filed, including our own on behalf of a Catholic private business owner in St. Louis, MO. 

Responding to the news of the 43 new entities filing suit, Cardinal Dolan called the joint effort a "compelling display of the unity of
the Church in defense of religious liberty." 

Amen to that! 

That's why today we asking every CV member to
write an email, make a phone call, or simply tweet or message one of the entities below that stepped forward to defend the freedom of all religious
institutions - Catholic or not - to practice what they believe free from intrusive the dictates of government. 

For the past two weeks we
urged you to protest Georgetown's act of disunity. Protests and petitions are used to oppose public actions that warrant our rightful opposition. 

If bad news invites our justified protest, then good news should inspire our praise! 

Today I urge you to applaud
those that filed suit yesterday. Their names and contact information are listed below. Take 2 minutes now to make a call or drop a quick note of
thanks. Tell them you are proud to stand with them. 

Assure them of your prayers that our collective action bears fruit.
