[Gathnet] war

Dear Everyone,

It is strange to be sitting here in the center of the
country continuing with life's routines as the war
goes on in the north as well as in the south.  We hear
such tragic stories - like the two children who were
sent to stay with their grandmother so they would be
safer and then on Shabat eve as they sat down to
dinner the three of them were killed by a rocket sent
to that town...

I hope that the IDF quickly destroys the Hizbala in
the north and Hamas in the south and I hope the world
can wake up and see that these terrorists are all part
of the same group which is trying to take over the
free world... just as Hitler tried...
I sure hope our army does the job quickly so that
Moshe's friends who just so happily graduated
highschool and are going in to the army very soon 
(Moshe is about 6 months younger) don't have to say
'well, it doesn't matter what we choose to do in the
army, we'll all end up in Lebanon anyway'
I hope and pray that they all get a chance to choose
their fields of interest and not be in a war, please
God  I pray that it is over soon.

I also hope that Bush does not let go of the struggle
with Iran - because of the ('cowboy') criticism he is
getting.  Yes, let him try real hard to get the rest
of the free world's support with sanctions and
everything.  But if that all fails...he needs to do
what must be done before it is too late.

Meanwhile, it is easy for us in this part of the
country to have the illusion that life is pretty much
as usual...because we don't hear the rockets and we
just watch it on the news.  But we should be thankful
that we have a very strong army and pray that the Lord
is with them to help them finish their task soon.
