You will need to flush your DNS cache.  You can check with "host
ssb.gathman.org".  It should list both IP4 and IP6 addresses.  If you
are (unwisely) using your ISP DNS, then you can change to a different
DNS server (e.g. 8.8.8.8) by editing /etc/resolv.conf until you get the
right result.  Or you can edit /etc/hosts and add

70.184.247.44  ssb.gathman.org

to override DNS.  (Most distros have hosts override DNS by default -
this is configured in /etc/nsswitch.conf.)
