Hello Stuart,
So far it works...
changed file: /usr/share/pyshared/Milter/utils.py
In Debian 6.0 I find the link : /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/Milter/utils.py -> ../../../../share/pyshared/Milter/utils.py
